ZIjn keuringen echt verplicht
Ja, in Nederland zijn werkgevers verplicht om te zorgen voor veilige en gezonde arbeidsomstandigheden. Deze plicht is vastgelegd in de Arbeidsomstandighedenwet (Arbowet) en verder uitgewerkt in het Arbeidsomstandighedenbesluit (Arbobesluit). In dit besluit zijn onder meer de eisen opgenomen voor het gebruik, onderhoud en de keuring van arbeidsmiddelen en machines.
Een belangrijk artikel in dit verband is artikel 7.4a van het Arbobesluit. Dit artikel bepaalt dat arbeidsmiddelen gekeurd moeten worden door een deskundige persoon of organisatie. De keuring moet ervoor zorgen dat het arbeidsmiddel veilig gebruikt kan worden en dat mogelijke risico’s voor werknemers worden beperkt.
